Johnathan Breen

CFP®, J.D.
Financial Advisor

Johnathan C. Breen grew up in North Andover, Massachusetts. He attended St. John’s Prep High School in Danvers, Massachusetts. Johnathan obtained his bachelor’s degree from the Jack Welch School of Business at Sacred Heart University, followed by his Juris Doctor from the Syracuse University College of Law.

Before joining Boston Harbor Wealth Advisors, Johnathan was a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial. In addition to being a financial planner, Johnathan is also the managing attorney for a law firm that concentrates on estate planning matters. He is a member of the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Boston bar associations. Johnathan earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificate in 2019.

John specializes in providing comprehensive financial planning services for families and individuals, with a focus on asset management and estate planning. He works closely with clients to develop strategies customized to their personal needs and long-term goals, helping them achieve financial confidence through sound, tailored guidance.

In addition to being a financial planner, I am also an attorney. It really helps when clients want to leave a legacy for their loved ones and favorite charities. I see firsthand how important family is to people, and I personally make it my mission to treat everyone like family. It’s a lesson my mother bestowed on me years ago.

I am an avid volleyball player and played all throughout school, as well as professionally following graduation. It is a team sport that teaches you a lot about working together. You can still often find me playing in indoor or beach volleyball tournaments in my free time. I am also an assistant coach for the men’s volleyball program at Endicott College in Beverly, which allows me to use my skills to give back to the community.
